Zum zweiten (oder dritten Mal, je nach dem..) findet der weit über die Grenzen Wiens hinaus bekannte Kostnix Soli Ball statt. Der große Erfolg läßt uns weiter feiern und tanzen und uns erfreuen, unsere Hirne nicht dem Geld unterworfen zu haben, sondern "Friede, Freude und Eier- oder eierlose Kuchen" leben zu wollen. Bringt also eure Geldreste, damit wir Vermieter und Stromlieferanten damit füttern können.

ROVAR17 vs. XPLDNGLKE
is a collaboration between two prolific Hungarian sound
artists. The industrial noise warlock Rovar17 and the rhythmic hermit XPLDNGLKE.
Together the duo creates soundscapes that exists somewhere between catatonic phantom
noises and stimulating beats.
It's all an eternal struggle for the control over the mixer, or just infinite loops of the secular
idleness at the first morning after lobotomy.

Passend zur Ball-Saison veranstaltet der Kostnix-Laden einen Ball! Und zwar
den Kostnix-Soli-Ball!
Was heißt das?
Wir schwingen das Tanzbein, kleiden uns in schicken und lustigen Gewändern (optional) und spenden für einen guten Zweck. Der gute Zweck ist, dass der Fortbestand des Kostnix-Ladens gesichert ist. Wie ihr wisst, finanziert sich der Kostnix-Laden über freiwillige Spenden; diese benötigen wir für Miete, Strom, Internet, Reparaturen etc. Events auf einer "freiwilligen Spende"-Basis zu veranstalten entspricht dem langfristige Ziel des Kostnix-Laden, dass Menschen nicht mehr tauschen, sondern teilen und nicht konkurrieren, sondern zusammenhelfen!
Ihr findet den Kostnix-Laden toll? Die Idee ist spitze? Dann lasst uns doch zusammenhelfen, damit die Miete weiterhin gesichert ist :))
Wie bei der Faschingsparty wird es auch wieder Snacks und Getränke geben - bitte gerne auch was mitbringen :) alles gegen eine freiwillige Spende.
Es wird auch wieder feinste Musik von unserem "Haus"DJ geben! Diesmal gibt es aber auch die Möglichkeit, die eigenen Vinyls mitzubringen und sich von David in einem "DJ Workshop" erklären lassen, wie die Turntables zu bedienen sind.
P.s.: schicke, lustige und schräge "Ball"Kleidung findet ihr natürlich im Kostnix-Laden. Also ein adequates Kleiden kann auch erst während dem Ball stattfinden 😋
EDIT: es gibt einen zusätzlichen Programmpunkt, nämlich eine wundervolle musikalische Lesung zum Thema Kinder, die um 18:00 startet:

Denis Sorokin is musician from Saint-Petersburg. He performs a new academic music, mostly playing pieces of Michael Pisaro, Stefan Thut, Radu Malfatti and another composers from Wandelweiser. He works alot with Taku Sugimoto, Anastassis Philippakopoulos and Eva-Maria Houben, played premiers of pieces of Dante Boon, Bruno Duplant, Mark Hannesson, which were written for him. Also he plays his own transcriptions for guitar of compositions of John Cage, Morton Feldman, Galina Ustvolskaya and another composers. His records were released on lables Intonema (Russia), pan y rosas discos (USA), Linear Obsessional (UK), b-boim (Austria), etc. Also he makes an artwork for covers of musical albums as such as british record lable Anoter Timbre. Now times he started to use his voice as instrument and Eva-Maria Houben wrote for him two new pieces for voice which will be performed on this concert. Also will be performed a new composition for ukulele of norwegian composer Johan Lindvall who wrote this new piece also specially for Denis.

The Star Pillow is the drone-ambient-experimental project of the italian guitar player Paolo Monti, founded in December 2007 and mainly based on the research of expression and relation between sound, space and human emotions.
The Star Pillow actually has published 14 albums on labels like Boring Machines, Midira Records, Time Released Sound, Paradigms Recordings, Dead Vox, Setola di Maiale, ManzaNera, Taverna Records, Laverna, etc.
Continues uninterruptedly to play several tours and live gigs throughout Europe (Italy, Sardinia and Sicily included, Switzerland, Slovenia, Austria, Hungary, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, UK).He shared the stage with people like William Basinski, :zoviet * france:, Thisquietarmy, Nadja, Dirk Serries, Roy Montgomery, Big Brave, Jessica Moss, Lea Bertucci, Machinefabriek, Modelbau, N, [Bolt], BARST, Treha Sektori,

Collaborations with the pianist Federico Gerini (in many concerts and four albums, one of which with the leader of cult italian no wave band "Detonazione" Bruno Romani) and with the director Roberto Beani of
Zimmerfrei that release all the official videoclips. Original soundtrack for the films "Nascono i Fiori" (Mauro Bartoli, LabFilm 2016), "Tutta colpa di una ragazza alimentata ad elio" (Giancarlo Fruzzetti 2015), "Il Disassociato" (Cristina Picchi 2014).
He's also part of the post industrial trio DAIMON with Simon Balestrazzi e Nicola Quiriconi.

Mia Zabelka is a sound artist, composer as well as an experimental violinist and vocalistfrom Vienna, with czech, jewish and french familiar background. Comprehensivelyeducated in classical music from early age on, she continued to construct and explore the limits of sound and music in a language entirely her own, based on the de- and reconstruction of the violin’s sonic possibilities, expanding the range of the instrument using live electronic devices, preparing it through the insertion of alien objects between or on the strings and innovative performance techniques.
Dario Fariello is a saxophonist and violist devoted to improvised music. He studied musicology at the University of Bologna, where he co-founded the Bologna im- provisers Orchestra and the label Eclectic Polpo Records. Moved to Berlin in 2011 to work with Tristan Honsinger and Eren Ileri, he co-founded Multiversal, a nomad festival series featuring a wide international network of improv and noise musicians. Now based in Oslo, he collaborates with ZGB, Harald Fetveit, Thiébault Imm, Antti Virtaranta, Ina Sagstuen, Øyvind Hellner, Espen Ursin, Håkon Lie, Stefan Voglsinger, Alexander Chernyshkov, Marina Poleukhina and many others. With Norbert Stamm- berger he organizes the yearly festival Tubax Super Session in Munich, dedicated to the tubax saxophone and other special instruments.

Wir laden euch herzlich ein zu unserem Kennenlern-Brunch und Ausverkauf!
Warum, wozu das Ganze?
Ganz einfach, wir wollen uns Zeit nehmen, um Interessenten über den Kostnix-Laden zu informieren und euch zu zeigen, wie ihr mithelfen und unterstützen könnt. Der Kostnix-Laden ist ein gemeinnütziges Projekt, das nur funktionieren kann, wenn sich genügend Leute einbringen. Und wir wollen diesen Sonntag bei Punsch und Kuchen nutzen, um euch zu informieren und näher kennenzulernen :)
Und der "Ausverkauf"?
Richtig, wir verkaufen nichts. Aber wir sind randvoll und wollen deswegen auch diesen Sonntag nutzen, um ein bisschen Platz zu schaffen. Sucht ihr noch Last-Minute Weihnachtsgeschenke oder braucht ihr noch Winterkleidung oder neue, spannende Lektüre für die grauen Tage? Dann seid ihr bei uns genau richtig.
Kurz zusammengefasst, es wird folgendes geben:
- Informationen über den KNL und wie man mithelfen kann
- Punsch und andere Leckerein (bitte auch selbst was mitbringen :) )

Konzert, basierend auf den Ideen zur in der Folge beschriebenen CD.
"Enzym pursues his composition work through minuscule fragments.
While he was creating the elementary sounds that populate Archaeabacteria, his first album, a question arose between his keyboards and eardrums which has never left him; could an even more elemental fragment still be considered music?
Enzym sings primitive hymns where glitches, cutouts, naive melodies and ecstatic piano chords meet.
Using repetition, symbiosis and mutations, he propels these initial fragments towards a choreographic destiny."
THRVS
Matthias Kampf is an improvising musician who explores ecstatic and entrancing music through percussion, vocal drones and live processing.
As a soloist (under the moniker THRVS) he has performed throughout Europe and has been active in several international improvisational collaborations.
His most recent project involved time-processed Livonian folk songs, looped and transformed into tribal drones and perception-bending, psycho-acoustic sonic "rituals" based on West African and Arabic trance induction approaches.
In his work, time, perception, physical and sonic space all become expandable, interchangable variables that blend together in a sort of musical Dikhr, in which ecstasy and trance become the gravitational centre.
Matthias is a member of various groups such as the impro drone/noise duo BOORII, the ambient/drone trio Meru and The Soft Power Ensemble of Vienna, a 12 piece improvisation-ensemble, as well as the now defunct experimental rock band Neonstream.

Pairing noise music with performance art, it often works with astonishing musical and visual elements. Caution! This show is suitable for disrupting tranquility. We do a very massive above 18 years body art performance - that may happen we use nude female body, black paints and blood. Rovar17 is responsible for music, while the performers are Syporca Whandal and Zopán Nagy.

The phenomenon of Rovar17 (Insect17 in English) was born 31st of August 2002, what is basically Kálmán Pongrácz's solo project, but different kinds of collaboration often occur with musicians, visual artists, performers as well as theater, so Rovar17 is a member of several bands as ParaNoiZ, Royal Hungarian Noisemakers or the Százaségő was (from 2013 to 2015).
