ŌTONN stems from the need for expression of two young artists, a singer
and a drummer, which comes in the form of processed sound before being
assembled from apost-everything perspective and with an emphasis on
interplay approach. The duo create multiform improvisation combining
suspended moments with noisy and groovy passages. They take great care
of timber in a constant state of flux made of moods and contrastswhich are
in turn part of different narratives.

Am Scheideweg von Projektpräsentation, Kleidertauschparty und Musikevent wollen wir das Zwei-Geschlechter System ins schwanken tanzen.
Eingeladen sind alle Menschen denen Frack und Ballkleid zu eng sind.
Ihr könnt euch gerne vor Ort einkleiden oder auch selbst Outfits mitnehmen.
Da es bei queerfeministischen Anliegen nicht nur um Außenwahrnehmung geht wollen wir auch eine Bühne Bieten in Form Poetry Slams, Impro Performance oder Interviewbeiträgen Eindruck zu hinterlassen.
Freie Spenden für Essen und Trinken gehen an den Kostnix-Laden und die Künstler*Innen.

AGBESAGT 14.3.2020 19h30 Gretzky
Gretzky, ein Electro-Pop Duo aus Wien ist Ende 2016 aus
zwei Strängen entstanden:
Peter Pichler, eine Hälfte von Bob und Elke Bitter, Sängerin
und Songwriterin bei He Was A She.
Daraus eine popmusikalische Nord- Südachse entstanden
(Peter Pichler geboren und aufgewachsen in Südtirol;
Elke Bitter aus Oberösterreich). Beide wurden in der Jugend
musikalisch vorgeformt durch Acts wie New Order, Bronski
Beat, Depeche Mode oder Eurythmics.
Aber diese Allianz, die zwischen prominent beatlastigen,
dunkelbunten Electro-sounds und einer Stimme, die dem
emotional aufgeladenen R&B oder Soul nahe steht imitiert nicht, sondern stellt neue Rezepte elektronischen Pops her: Strukturierter, melodramatischer und den Klängen nordischer Formationen wie Röyksopp nicht unähnlicher Elektroniksound trifft auf südlich warme, seelentiefe Vocals, die eine geballte Ladung voller Durs und Molls des Lebens mitbringen.
Es scheint fast so, als würden sich die im emotionalen Sturm wehenden Gesänge an die rettende Reeling der Elektronik festklammern. Aber nicht mit einem verzweifelten, klammernden Griff, sondern akrobatisch und voller Elastiziät. Gretzkys Tracks flattern also ein bisschen im Wind, ohne dabei weggeweht zu werden und die Hörerschaft im Regen stehen zu lassen.

Electroacoustic architect Fotgjengeren comes originally from Staten Island, NY but has been based in Tbilisi, Georgia for more than 5 years. He is a multiinstrumentalist and vocalist who tours with alto saxophone, bass, an Akai mini and laptop, performing intricate, visual-inducing compositions with strong connections to story-telling and poetry.

27.3.2020 19h30 Overdriven Dreams (Uroš Kostić) & BOM (Kornél Bíró)
Overdriven dreams is the solo outfit of Uroš Kostić, guitarist from Niš, Serbia. After many years of experimenting with the possibilities of his main instrument and various other devices through work with several bands and projects, most prominently with post-rock band There., he started utilizing those sounds in his solo work.
Overdriven dreams seek to bring the infinite sound fields of phantasmagoric dreams to life. In the process, he relies primarily on improvisation on the guitar, which he often uses outside the standard application of the instrument, and with the help of devices such as drum sticks, radios, cell phones, and e-bow. Also, he uses manipulation of cassettes, lo-fi synths, and granular samplers in the sonic imaging of endless fields of dreams.

BOM is a Vienna based solo project by Kornél Bíró. He came from Debrecen, Hungary, where he joined to the experimental music scene in 1997. He’s still the bass guitarist of the well known Hungarian industrial band, called Lyuhász Lyácint Bt. He started his solo carrier in 2014. At this time he’d like to commemorate the accident of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in the year 1986. During his concert he uses original footage (edited by Emil Hutanu). With its help the audience will feel themselves in the control room number 4 on that tragic night on 25-26th April and follow their self-sacrificing work in the next heroic months.
