Das Duo stellt eine elektroakustische Begegnung zwischen den musikalischen Welten von Luz Gonzalez und Rebecca Minten dar.
Im Mittelpunkt ihrer klanglichen Forschung steht die Entwicklung eines elektronischen Instruments, das speziell darauf ausgelegt ist, einen Dialog mit der (Bass-)Klarinette und einem zeitgenössischen Spielstil herzustellen.
Diese präzise und sich ständig weiterentwickelnde Programmierarbeit ermöglicht es den beiden Musikerinnen, in der gemeinsamen Welt, die sie sich geschaffen haben, miteinander zu interagieren. Die daraus entstehenden Kompositionen sind niemals fertige Produkte, sondern entstehen aus langen Improvisationssitzungen und bilden meist offene und/oder grafische Partituren.
Aleksandar Škorić
is a Serbian drummer whose playing fuses the rhythmic vitality of the Balkans with the spiritual intensity of free jazz. His approach is characterized by both dynamic power and subtlety, making him a versatile and sought-after musician in contemporary improvised music. Škorić studied jazz and improvisation at the Prins Claus Conservatorium in Groningen (Netherlands) and at the KASK Conservatory in Ghent (Belgium). There, he developed an open and exploratory approach to percussion, rooted in both tradition and avant-garde innovation. He has performed internationally with leading figures in improvised and free jazz, including Akira Sakata, William Parker, John Dikeman, Linda Sharrock, Jamie Branch, Charles Gayle, and Shabaka Hutchins. His discography includes Glory Divine (Charles Gayle Trio), Live in Europe 2022 (Akira Sakata Entasis, Trost Records), and Like One Long Dream (Mofaya, with Jamie Branch, John Dikeman, Luke Stewart, and Škorić). Through his ability to weave Balkan rhythms with contemporary free improvisation, Škorić makes a unique rhythmic contribution to both the European and international creative music scenes.

Nick Neuburg
is a percussionist/improviser originally from South Florida based out of Brooklyn, NY. During recent years, Nick has focused primarily on solo percussion performance, and has two solo records out currently: For 1 and 2 Surfaces (2025 Empty Stage Records, and Cryptic Exaltations (2023 1039 Records). Neuburg’s various other projects and collaborations include a duo with bassist Brittany Karlson, The Great Link, Sam Newsome’s Trio, several trios with pianist Eli Wallace, and Steven Long’s PRNCX among many others.

Das Instrumental-Duo KnuRRhahn widmet sich der Konversation von elektronischen Klangquellen mit instrumentalen Blockflötensounds. Hier treffen zwei MusikerInnen aufeinander, die einen improvisierten Dialog entwickeln in dem klangliche Texturen und musikalische Gesten zu Manifestationen von Bewegung und Ruhe verschmelzen. Ihr Ziel ist es, die Zuhörerin* zu einem aktiven Hörerlebnis zwischen mannigfaltigen Figurationen von Stille und Geräusch zu führen. Die außergewöhnlichen Klangfarben der Paetzold- und anderer Blockflöten treffen auf pulsierende Oszillatoren, abstrakte Klangflächen und Lärmelemente aus analogen und digitalen elektronischen Instrumenten. Dabei entstehen komplexe, expressive bis meditative akustische Bilder mit intensiver Wirkung auf die Rezipientin*.
